⭐ Hello, dear stargazers! ⭐
Today, I'm thrilled to introduce you to my trusty sidekick—a secondary telescope that has become my go-to for celestial exploration. While it might not boast cameras or motors, this beauty is perfect for one thing: visual observations .
Meet the Skywatcher 200P Classic , my dobsonian telescope purchased from Amazon last year ⭐. After diving into astrophotography with my Seestar, I realized there's nothing quite like seeing stars not on a screen, but in person—right here, under our own night sky.
This journey reminds me of the good old days when I was younger and first discovered the wonder of stargazing through my very first dobsonian telescope.
So, why did I choose this one?
Well, Reddit raved about its performance for the price—and let's be honest, it's a steal for such a large aperture! Of course, there are trade-offs: it's hefty (22kg!🫢) and takes some effort to move around. But here's the thing—I live in an area with incredible dark skies, so my only “outing” is from my house corridor to the balcony. No complaints there!
Now, I'd love to share a glimpse of what you can see through this telescope's aperture. While it's primarily a visual tool for me (and pure joy during my free time), here's a little something I snapped using this scope and my DSLR: our stunning Moon 🌝
It might not be perfect, but I hope you’ll appreciate the beauty of the night sky as much as I do ❤️.
